Full‑Time Faculty – Fashion & Digital Design

About the role

We are expanding our academic team at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Vijayawada, and are seeking two full‑time faculty members to lead Fashion & Textile Design and Digital Design & Fashion Software courses. The successful candidates will mentor aspiring designers, guide hands‑on projects, and prepare students for national and international showcases.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and workshops on core garment construction, textile arts, and visual storytelling.
• Teach practical techniques such as draping, fashion styling, surface ornamentation and fabric manipulation.
• Guide students in 3D garment visualization using CLO 3D and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Develop curriculum materials, assess student work, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain a vibrant learning environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Fashion or Textile Design (e.g., NIFT, NID, JD) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience or teaching experience in fashion design.
• Advanced expertise in 3D garment simulation and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator for the digital design role.
• Passion for mentoring and step‑by‑step instruction.
