About the role
LinguaPlanet is looking for a detail‑oriented French Language Proofreader to ensure the highest linguistic quality across a variety of French‑language content. The role involves reviewing documents, articles, marketing materials and other texts for accuracy, consistency and style.
Key responsibilities
- Proofread and edit French documents, articles, marketing collateral and other content.
- Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation and formatting errors.
- Maintain consistency in tone, terminology and style throughout all materials.
- Ensure compliance with French language standards and internal style guides.
- Deliver high‑quality work within agreed deadlines.
Required profile
- Native or near‑native proficiency in French.
- Strong knowledge of French grammar, spelling and writing conventions.
- Previous experience in proofreading, editing, or linguistic quality assurance.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Familiarity with proofreading tools and style guides.
