Food & Beverage Service Associate (GSA)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Service Associate (GSA) to join our Sheraton hotel team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on end‑of‑day closing operations, ensuring all service areas are clean, stocked and ready for the next shift while delivering a welcoming experience to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Complete closing duties: store reusable goods, break down items, clean equipment and areas, return equipment, lock refrigerators, restock, turn off lights and lock doors.
• Maintain work‑area cleanliness throughout the shift using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Inspect and prepare china, glass and silver for service, ensuring proper presentation.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies; report accidents and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance, protect company assets and confidential information.
• Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards and answer telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Support team goals, develop positive working relationships and respond to employee concerns.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, moving across uneven surfaces, and reaching overhead or below the knees.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or certifications required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks as described.
