Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the India legal entity accounting, financial reporting, taxation and internal controls, working on‑site with the India Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with US and local GAAP rules and regulations, and manage tax planning and transfer pricing.
• Provide accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, payables management and maintain satisfactory internal audit and controls.
• Lead timely closure of statutory and tax audits, and submit monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and tax filings in line with US GAAP guidelines.
• Oversee general accounting activities including accounts payable, inventory, asset capitalization, inter‑company accounting, balance‑sheet reconciliations and statutory compliances.
• Review and formulate policy changes to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, motivate and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience, including at least 3‑4 years of people‑management experience.
• Proven expertise in financial close and consolidation processes, compliance, tax, audit and financial accounting.
• Strong integrity, interpersonal, teamwork and leadership abilities, self‑motivation and multitasking skills.
• Experience building internal controls, process re‑engineering, operational accounting and managing a finance team.
