Faculty Positions in Computing (Professor, Associate, Assistant)

About the role

Mohan Babu University is seeking experienced academicians to join its School of Computing. The positions include Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, each responsible for teaching, research and academic service. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to outcome‑based education, interdisciplinary collaboration and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses, prepare curricula, assessments and laboratory manuals, and mentor students in research, internships and career development.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in indexed journals, secure funded projects, patents and technology‑transfer opportunities, and supervise theses and dissertations.
• Participate in curriculum design, accreditation activities (NBA/NAAC), NIRF ranking initiatives, examination processes and departmental committees.
• Establish collaborations with industry and research organisations, organise conferences, workshops and outreach programmes, and promote consultancy and community engagement.

Required profile

• Essential academic qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. (First Class) in a relevant discipline; Ph.D. mandatory for Associate Professor and Professor, desirable for Assistant Professor.
• Experience: Assistant Professor – completed or pursuing Ph.D.; Associate Professor – minimum 5 years post‑Ph.D. teaching/research/industry; Professor – minimum 10 years total experience with at least 5 years as Associate Professor.
• Strong record of publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals, funded research projects, patents or consultancy work is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to accreditation, curriculum development and industry‑university linkages.
