Executive N – Concrete Technologist

About the role

The Executive N – Concrete Technologist is a frontline technologist specialized in concrete. The role supports business objectives by conducting site trials, providing technical solutions, and converting sales leads into projects across the assigned geography.

Key responsibilities

• Customize admixture formulations at site level to meet client performance requirements and test them for target parameters.
• Prepare finalized formulation samples for client evaluation.
• Design specialized concrete mixes such as self‑compacting concrete and precast concrete.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical assistance on admixture products at project sites.
• Conduct on‑site sampling of admixture products to build customer confidence.
• Develop long‑term relationships with RMCs, contractors, and site QA/QC personnel to generate business.
• Collect and analyse competitor product samples to drive product improvements.
• Support marketing in product trials and benchmark APL product strength against market offerings.
• Identify non‑APL stakeholders and convert them through product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Research & Technology for new product development based on market feedback.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a Tier III/IV institute (minimum 50% marks, no backlogs).
• Desired coursework in Advanced Concrete Technology.
• 1–8 years of experience, preferably in RMC or admixture companies.
