Executive Cost Manager – Civil

About the role

The Executive Cost Manager – Civil will lead post‑contract cost control for large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate billing, variation management and financial reporting. You will act as the primary cost authority, interfacing with clients, PMC, architects and contractors to safeguard project budgets and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bill certification, interim valuations and payment certifications.
• Manage variation orders, measurement and invoice trackers, providing early‑warning advice on budget impacts.
• Perform independent verification of quantity take‑offs and maintain drawing registers.
• Generate fortnightly/monthly cost reports, cost plan updates and forecast analyses.
• Analyse contractual claims, re‑appraise cost provisions and support final account closure.
• Lead the cost management team, ensuring productivity and alignment with post‑contract objectives.
• Maintain market awareness of material rates and introduce cost‑effective alternatives.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management, preferably across data centre, mission‑critical, industrial or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to handle at least three concurrent projects in different sectors.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
