Engineering Associate

About the role

Join Hilton’s Hotels team as an Engineering Associate and help create memorable guest experiences by ensuring the hotel’s physical plant runs smoothly. You will support the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer in overseeing all engineering functions, from building systems to team management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain facility safety and regulatory compliance for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life‑safety systems.
• Assign, supervise, and document daily maintenance tasks in the property management system.
• Train, schedule, and guide the maintenance team to deliver high‑quality work.
• Oversee external contractors, inspect work for quality and compliance.
• Respond promptly to service requests, guest concerns, and emergencies.
• Repair and maintain all hotel equipment, monitor efficiency, and report deficiencies.
• Manage departmental expenses, monitor stock levels, and support cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated passion for hospitality and strong integrity.
• Leadership mindset with a collaborative team approach.
• Ownership attitude and ability to act with urgency.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Technician or similar role in a 5‑star hotel.
• Trade‑qualified in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing/Gas (advantageous) and solid general engineering knowledge.
