Engineer / Senior Engineer – Installation

About the role

KONE is looking for an Engineer or Senior Engineer to lead installation projects in Hyderabad. The role is responsible for safety, quality and productivity during installation and handover, while ensuring compliance with KONE methods and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site activities, enforce safety, quality and productivity standards, and raise corrective actions for any non‑conformities.
• Plan and organise installation logistics, material deliveries (MS 3c/3x), storage and tool requirements.
• Manage customer relationships, act as the primary contact on site and ensure timely, professional communication.
• Lead and develop the installation team and subcontractors, ensuring training, certification and wellbeing.
• Drive continuous improvement using LEAN principles, identify waste and implement improvement actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in overseeing complex installation projects and handling site‑level risk assessments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate operatives, manage subcontractors and maintain high safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, project managers and internal stakeholders.
