Electrical System Engineer – Bangalore

About the role

Airbus Engineering Center in Bengaluru is seeking an Electrical System Engineer to support electrical load analysis, architecture definition, and configuration management across its commercial aircraft programmes. The role spans the entire aircraft life‑cycle, from early development to post‑delivery support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver electrical load analysis for Airbus commercial aircraft on time, cost, and quality targets.
• Support electrical architectural studies and review the electrical load list.
• Perform load analysis at busbar, TRU, and generator levels, including overload assessments.
• Prepare detailed design and analysis reports covering load flow, voltage drop, protection selection, and in‑service issues.
• Create and maintain ELA documents, reports, and fleet allocation records.
• Respond to airline electrical load analysis requests and conduct feasibility studies for new modifications.
• Define and execute trade‑off studies and optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• General awareness of aircraft systems and strong engineering fundamentals.
• Good mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
• Exposure to aircraft electrical systems and configuration management processes.
