DevOps Delivery Engineer

About the role

Payoneer is seeking a proactive DevOps Delivery Engineer to design, build, and maintain the automation and infrastructure that powers its global financial platform. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem‑solver who can adapt quickly, work independently, and take ownership of production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Payoneer’s products.
• Build and operate a high‑performance, fault‑tolerant, scalable ALM system covering version control, builds, deployments, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Maintain the application layer across public and private cloud environments.
• Develop and integrate infrastructure tools to support production workloads.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of Windows and Linux environments.
• Collaborate with product, QA, development, and IT/operations teams to streamline workflows.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for production systems, including occasional weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Team player with strong interpersonal and service‑orientation skills.
• Creative, out‑of‑the‑box thinker and quick autodidact.
• Independent, accountable, and able to pivot mid‑project.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

Required skills

• Production experience on AWS, Azure or GCP (minimum 4 years).
• Microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Artifactory) and GitOps (ArgoCD or Flux).
• Configuration management (Chef, Ansible, Puppet).
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Linux administration and high‑level OS expertise.
• Programming: C# and Node.js (advantage).
• Application/web server management.
• Monitoring and logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch) knowledge.
• Event streaming/messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of storage and networking concepts.
