Data Analyst Demand Planning

About the role

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights that improve planning performance and drive better business decisions? We are looking for a Data Analyst – Demand Planning to support our global planning organization through advanced analytics, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role partners with Demand Planning, Commercial, Supply Planning, Finance, IT and external stakeholders to deliver insights that enhance forecast accuracy and planning maturity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze demand planning performance indicators such as Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias and Forecast Value Add.
• Develop, maintain and enhance dashboards, scorecards and reports that support business reviews and decision‑making.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on forecast deviations and planning gaps to identify improvement opportunities.
• Consolidate and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency of planning information.
• Support monthly Demand Review and business review processes with data‑driven recommendations.
• Partner with planners, commercial teams, finance, supply planning and technology stakeholders on reporting and analytics initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related analytical discipline.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Reporting or Business Intelligence.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex insights for diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent written and verbal English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) Demand Planning.
• SQL and advanced data querying techniques.
