Credit Analyst

About the role

The Credit Analyst will support corporate and wholesale banking clients by performing credit underwriting, preparing comprehensive credit proposals and conducting in‑depth financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform credit underwriting and appraisal for corporate and wholesale banking clients, producing detailed credit reports.
• Prepare end‑to‑end credit proposals, including industry and peer analysis, risk assessment, internal rating, documentation and collateral evaluation.
• Conduct financial analysis such as cash‑flow, working‑capital, leverage, enterprise‑value and ratio analysis.
• Evaluate loan structures including term loans, working‑capital facilities and trade‑finance exposures.
• Assess financial and non‑financial covenants and monitor compliance.
• Analyze collateral and security structures, both fund‑based and non‑fund‑based limits.
• Build and review financial models and projections.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in corporate or wholesale banking credit roles.
• Strong experience in credit appraisal for large corporates or mid‑market clients.
• Solid understanding of banking products such as cash credit, overdraft, term loans, guarantees and letters of credit.

• Knowledge of banking products (CC/OD, term loans, BG/LC).
