Cook – Indian Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cook to lead daily food preparation and cooking in our kitchen, focusing on authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of hygiene and timely service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to the daily menu.
• Produce Indian dishes ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as washing, cutting, marinating, and seasoning.
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and inventory of food ingredients.
• Keep the kitchen, utensils, and equipment clean and adhere to food safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and report supply needs to the supervisor.
• Minimize waste and ensure meals are served on time.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience as a Cook, preferably with Indian cuisine.
• Education up to 8th/10th grade or equivalent, with relevant cooking experience.
• Reliable, punctual, disciplined and able to work well with kitchen staff.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Indian cuisine.
• Understanding of basic food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
