About the role

Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) is seeking a full‑time Writer to join its communications team in Gurugram. You will create compelling, brand‑aligned content for a variety of audiences, supporting the institute’s reputation for medical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Write blog posts, articles, marketing collateral, patient education materials, and internal communications.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and administrative departments to align content strategy with institutional goals.
• Proofread and edit drafts, managing the content‑proofing workflow.
• Maintain consistency with FMRI’s voice, brand guidelines, and vision.

Required profile

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with experience producing engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in content development, including strategy, research, and storytelling.
• Knowledge of healthcare, medical, or scientific topics is a significant advantage.
• Critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
