Collection Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Collection Team Leader to manage and supervise the daily activities of our collection team, ensuring targets are met and performance is optimized. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and handling escalations to maintain professional collection processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily activities of the collection team.
• Monitor team performance and ensure daily collection targets are achieved.
• Allocate customer accounts and data to collection executives.
• Monitor overdue EMI accounts and ensure timely follow‑ups.
• Track Promise to Pay (PTP) and ensure proper follow‑up until payment.
• Monitor daily calls, productivity, attendance, and agent performance.
• Guide team members on customer handling and collection processes.
• Handle customer escalations and support agents in difficult cases.
• Prepare and share daily collection performance reports.
• Identify performance gaps and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Coordinate with internal teams for payment, account, and customer‑related issues.
• Ensure all collection activities are carried out professionally and in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Good communication and team‑handling skills.
• Experience in collection, tele‑calling or customer support (preferred).
• Good knowledge of EMI and overdue payment follow‑up.
• Ability to work with targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
• Basic knowledge of CRM/LMS.
