Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of containerised workloads on Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on building robust, secure, and scalable Kubernetes environments while collaborating closely with development teams to enable cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (preferably GKE) on Google Cloud Platform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerised applications using tools such as Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
• Develop, optimise, and manage Docker images throughout their lifecycle.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Helm.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in container orchestration and cloud infrastructure.
• Enforce security best practices for containers, cloud resources, and DevSecOps processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to adopt micro‑services architecture and cloud‑native patterns.
• Automate operational tasks to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of hands‑on experience in cloud‑native environments.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• Proven ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward automation.
