Civil Design & Estimation Engineer – Transmission & Solar EPC

About the role

NorthBridge Infra Energy is seeking a Civil Design & Estimation Engineer to support its Transmission & Distribution and Solar EPC portfolio. The role combines pre‑bid cost estimation with post‑award civil design, ensuring technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Study tender documents, specifications and drawings to prepare detailed civil cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and rate analysis for RCC, PCC, reinforcement, structural steel, earthworks, roads, drains, foundations and related civil works.
• Develop preliminary civil layouts and design assumptions for lump‑sum or turnkey tenders.
• Prepare and review BOQs, Bar Bending Schedules and structural drawings after award.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural and project teams and support site engineers with technical queries.
• Evaluate vendor quotations, identify value‑engineering opportunities and ensure compliance with IS codes and client specifications.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in civil estimation, design or tender engineering, preferably in substations, T&D, solar EPC or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of RCC works, foundations, structural steel, earthworks and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with IS codes, BOQ preparation and rate analysis.
