Civil Design Engineer

About the role

DANLIN ENGINEERS is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team in Tiruchirappalli. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering civil design drawings, calculations, and reports for infrastructure and land‑development projects such as roads, drainage systems, and site layouts.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and produce detailed civil designs using CAD and civil design software.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports that comply with local and international standards and codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure constructability and resolve design‑related issues during execution.
• Participate in internal design reviews, update design revisions, and support project managers in meeting schedule and quality objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or registration is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, land development, stormwater management, and roadway design.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities and a commitment to safety, quality management, and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D or equivalent civil design software.
