Business Finance & Capex Controller

About the role

The Business Finance & Capex Controller acts as the bridge between finance and business verticals, driving cost optimisation and strategic capital‑expenditure planning. You will provide real‑time analysis to influence decisions and support the organisation’s financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of business cost drivers and support efficient growth initiatives.
• Plan and manage the organisation’s Capex budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Report on plan versus actual performance, identifying variances and corrective actions.
• Analyse Capex and Opex optimisation opportunities and conduct deep‑dive trend analysis.
• Create and maintain business dashboards, and run weekly reviews with regional stakeholders.
• Assist with ad‑hoc analyses for special projects as required.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 6‑8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Excel proficiency and solid business acumen.
• Proven experience as a business finance partner, including financial modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑starter attitude with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
