Business Development Executive (EV Sector)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, result‑oriented Business Development Executive to expand Skyy Rider Electric’s presence in the electric‑vehicle market. The role focuses on generating new leads, building relationships with corporate and institutional clients, and driving revenue growth across Odisha and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for electric vehicles.
• Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, digital platforms and networking.
• Develop relationships with corporate clients, institutions, hotels, resorts, hospitals, industries and government organisations.
• Identify and onboard dealers, distributors and channel partners.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, quotation and closure.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales reports, and follow up to achieve targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams for vehicle delivery, customisation and after‑sales support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of experience in Business Development, B2B or corporate sales, preferably in the automobile or EV sector.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
• Target‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
