Bank Teller – Retail Banking

About the role

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Teller to join its Retail Banking team at the Ratlam branch in Madhya Pradesh. This full‑time, on‑site role is the first point of contact for customers, responsible for delivering smooth banking transactions and promoting the bank’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers courteously and professionally.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and balance cash drawers, ensuring precise record‑keeping of all transactions.
• Promote and cross‑sell bank products and services.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with branch team members to meet branch goals and service standards.
• Support branch operations during peak hours while maintaining high attention to detail.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 0–4 years of experience in customer service or cash handling; banking experience preferred.
• Willingness to undergo background and credit checks.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in computer applications.
