Associate Relationship Manager – Joint Liability Group

About the role

The Associate Relationship Manager – JLG supports the Relationship Manager in deepening banking relationships, creating Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) and managing them through formation, disbursement and collection phases. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, building household‑level relationships and delivering best‑in‑class service.

Key responsibilities

• Map household needs in assigned villages and manage zoning activities.
• Conduct end‑user checks after loan disbursement and achieve monthly/annual group loan booking targets.
• Assess client needs, cross‑sell banking products and generate new revenue streams.
• Drive acquisition of liability business, open new accounts and meet sales goals.
• Maintain high collection efficiency and ensure accurate loan documentation.
• Coordinate with operations officers for timely data entry and compliance with bank policies.
• Perform field audits, verify customer information and gather market intelligence.
• Recommend process improvements and support livelihood and community development initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 0–2 years of relevant branch banking experience.
• Strong analytical ability to assess client needs and risk profiles.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
