About the role
We are urgently hiring an Associate Professor of Computer Science to join our faculty team. The role involves delivering undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising research, and contributing to departmental activities.
Key responsibilities
- Teach a requisite number of undergraduate and graduate classes.
- Provide guidance and supervision to graduate students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic discussions.
- Assist with departmental duties and support other faculty members.
- Conduct demonstrations, supervise experiments and investigations.
- Answer student queries in class, via email or telephone.
- Provide feedback on student progress to professors and department heads.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or UGC-NET/Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (preferred).
- Teaching experience in a university setting.
- Strong analytical, observational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and engaging with students.
