About the role
The Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage will support the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets at Marriott Marquis, New Delhi. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of service, quality, and financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing all food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
- Provide coaching and motivation to team members, fostering a collaborative and service‑focused environment.
- Respond promptly to guest and employee concerns, taking ownership of issues until resolved.
- Monitor financial results, control costs, and support the achievement of revenue targets.
- Ensure adherence to corporate accounting procedures and assist with quality audits.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of relevant experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with 1 year of experience.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to handle guest complaints effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership, confidence, and enthusiasm in a hospitality setting.
