Assistant Manager – Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Ethics and Compliance professional to join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Bangalore as an Assistant Manager – Compliance. The role supports the company’s ethical standards and regulatory commitments across its software development operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into potential fraud, financial irregularities, data breaches and policy violations, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses and analysing data.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports with findings, recommendations and corrective actions in line with internal disciplinary procedures and applicable laws.
• Develop and implement advanced investigation techniques, including forensic methods, and set strategic goals for the compliance function.
• Monitor and interpret changes in Indian and global compliance requirements such as GDPR, PDPA, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, anti‑bribery and corruption statutes, and Indian labour laws.
• Assess compliance management systems for suitability and effectiveness, and provide guidance to business units to ensure alignment with company policies and ethical values.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Compliance, Audit, IT and Finance to design and execute compliance programs that meet regulatory and corporate objectives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in investigations, enforcement or compliance within a technology or software environment.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and anti‑bribery, corruption and Indian labour law frameworks.
• Ability to analyse complex data, prepare comprehensive reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work with internal and external stakeholders.
