Assistant Community Manager

About the role

Awfis is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee operations of a 15,000‑25,000 sq ft office space, manage a revenue stream of over 40 million INR per year, and build strong member relationships. The role blends profit‑center ownership with community development to ensure high client satisfaction and brand advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive profit‑center performance through ASR and margin analysis, expense control, collections, renewals and cost optimisation.
• Develop and expand the member community by organising events, forming hyper‑local partnerships and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain high client satisfaction scores, achieve renewal targets at budgeted seat prices and turn members into brand ambassadors.
• Coach and develop sub‑ordinates and facility teams, while preparing for future leadership responsibilities.
• Oversee vendor management, ensuring compliance with purchase‑to‑pay processes.
• Manage facilities upkeep, preventive maintenance, compliance and ESG considerations.
• Execute client‑engagement, brand initiatives, CSR activities and company‑driven projects.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in community, operations or revenue‑center management, with at least 2.5 million INR annual revenue handled.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, extroverted personality and keen interest in current affairs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, cost control and revenue growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in a local language is preferred.
• Graduate degree; MBA preferred.
