Analyst Technology Risk Intelligence

About the role

The Analyst Technology Risk Intelligence will support the Technology Risk Intelligence practice within ANZ's Risk, Group Technology team. You will work under senior staff to gather evidence, extract and reconcile data, refresh dashboards and prepare draft summaries for governance and oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of insight routines by following defined procedures, checklists and templates.
• Extract, clean and reconcile data from approved sources and maintain working files for repeatable routines.
• Refresh dashboards and reporting packs, run quality checks and escalate any anomalies before distribution.
• Run scheduled automation steps, update parameters and log outcomes, escalating failures promptly.
• Support stakeholder requests by gathering data, documenting assumptions and preparing governance pack components.
• Contribute to thematic reviews and events analysis by collating evidence and drafting summary notes.

Required profile

• Experience in an analyst or support role involving data, reporting, risk or technology in a complex environment.
• Basic analytical skills with ability to extract, organise and reconcile data and identify exceptions.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline and clear written communication.
• Tertiary qualification or ongoing study in data/analytics, technology, cyber security, engineering, risk or finance.

• Microsoft Excel (including Power Query)
• Power BI for dashboarding
• SQL scripting
• Python scripting (basic)
