About the role
Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities and accident scenes. Ensure the ambulance is clean, stocked, and ready for emergency responses.
Key responsibilities
- Assist emergency medical staff with loading and unloading patients.
- Maintain communication with dispatch centers to receive and report updates.
- Navigate routes efficiently and adapt to traffic conditions.
- Conduct routine checks on the ambulance to ensure functionality and safety.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Provide a calm and reassuring presence for patients during transit.
- Assist in the restocking and maintenance of medical and safety equipment.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on emergency protocols.
