Accounts Payable Clerk – Remote (India)

About the role

The Accounts Payable Clerk ensures accurate, timely payments to suppliers, supporting strong vendor relationships and financial integrity in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. Working remotely for a leading home‑interiors manufacturer, you will handle invoice processing, payment execution, and record‑keeping while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Prepare and process ACH and wire payments, verifying pricing, quantities, and approvals.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, responding to vendor inquiries.
• Maintain vendor master files, including W‑9s and payment terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and the AP sub‑ledger to the general ledger, and prepare aging reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and procure‑to‑pay processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management skills.
