Account Manager – Global Strategic Accounts (Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager to lead global strategic accounts for a leading flavours and food solutions multinational. Based in Bangalore, you will work directly with some of the world’s largest FMCG companies, driving revenue growth and long‑term partnership value.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of global key accounts, including flagship FMCG customers.
• Develop and execute account development plans aligned with customer objectives.
• Lead commercial negotiations and account strategy discussions to maximise value.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (technical, innovation, marketing, supply chain) to deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of projects and opportunities, monitoring industry trends and competitive activity.
• Present high‑quality business reviews and planning sessions to senior stakeholders.
• Act as an individual contributor while influencing internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in key account management, sales or commercial roles, preferably within flavours, ingredients, food or FMCG sectors.
• Proven track record managing large multinational or global customer accounts and delivering profitable growth.
• Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and influencing skills, and confidence engaging senior executives.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, performance‑oriented environment.
