Account Director, Digital Natives

About the role

OpenAI’s Go‑to‑Market team is looking for an Account Director to drive AI adoption across customer accounts. You will own the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to renewal, partnering with research and engineering teams to deliver complex AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans.
• Support accounts from initial engagement through successful deployment and renewal, collaborating with solutions and research engineering.
• Own revenue targets, forecast revenue, and analyze key account metrics to provide insights to stakeholders.
• Monitor the industry landscape to inform product roadmap and corporate strategy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including marketing, finance, product management, and engineering.

Required profile

• 7+ years selling and renewing platform‑as‑a‑service or software‑as‑a‑service solutions.
• Experience designing and executing complex deal strategies and working directly with C‑level executives.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record gathering and processing market intelligence.
