Travel Goods Designer

About the role

We are looking for a creative Designer to develop travel‑goods and accessories for Samsonite’s portfolio of brands. The role involves turning market insights into innovative product concepts that meet style, functionality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and sketch design ideas for luggage, travel bags and accessories.
• Research fashion and market trends to inform product direction.
• Present designs and reports to the design head and incorporate feedback.
• Develop and coordinate the fabrication of prototypes, models and samples.
• Produce working drawings and specification sheets from sketches.
• Modify and refine designs to meet specifications, production constraints and evolving trends.
• Evaluate feasibility of concepts considering appearance, safety, functionality, budget and production methods.

Required profile

• Design graduate from NIFT, NID or equivalent with focus on product/lifestyle accessory design.
• 5–7 years of experience, preferably in travel goods or lifestyle products.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to local markets or factories.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
