Test Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for HMI applications. The role focuses on Python‑based scripting, integration with HMI test frameworks and ensuring high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python.
• Work with HMI test frameworks such as UniTAS and GTS to validate UI flows, screen transitions and user interactions.
• Automate regression and functional test scenarios and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, debug issues together with development teams and maintain automation frameworks.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for HMI features and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech degree.
• 4‑5 years of experience in test automation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python.
• Good understanding of UI/HMI testing, including usability and responsiveness.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• UniTAS and GTS HMI test frameworks.
• REST API testing.
• CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Basic scripting and data handling.
• Linux environment (preferred).
