Team Leader – Global Payroll Operations

About the role

The Team Leader – Global Payroll Operations will oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and high‑quality service delivery. This role acts as the primary liaison between internal teams and external customers, driving continuous improvement and incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage payroll incident resolution, balancing workloads and maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Perform quality control on payroll runs and train team members on end‑to‑end process controls.
• Serve as the escalation point for risks, issues and decisions, providing timely resolutions.
• Prepare monthly SLA metrics, dashboards and other required reporting.
• Collaborate with Business, HR and IT leaders to align payroll operations with organizational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10–14 years of experience with payroll systems, payroll processing and HRIS platforms.
• Demonstrated experience with US, UK and Middle East payroll processing and global payroll exposure (UAE, Saudi Arabia, US, Canada, LATAM, Europe, APAC & ASEAN).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to deliver engaging presentations.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ADP Global View and Celegro (ADP Celegro tool knowledge is mandatory).
• Experience using payroll and HRIS platforms such as ADP, Paychex, Deel, SAP and Workday.
• In‑depth understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
