Tax Manager

About the role

BTVK Advisory is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead the delivery of corporate, partnership, individual and trust & estate tax services for its clients. The role involves advising clients on tax strategies, overseeing tax return preparation, and mentoring junior staff within a global advisory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate, partnership, individual, trust and estate tax matters.
• Define tax service objectives, scope and methodology and communicate with client management.
• Oversee calculation and analysis of tax strategies and ensure accurate delivery.
• Manage and review preparation of federal, foreign, state and local tax returns, estimated payments and extensions.
• Monitor, document and apply applicable US tax laws.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, including networking and business development.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and supervision to Tax Seniors and staff.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and contribute to their implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• EA certification (Enrolled Agent) required; CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in US taxation, preferably in a public accounting firm.
• At least 2 years of supervising and training experience.
• Experience with large, multi‑state, internationally active middle‑market clients is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
