System Engineer – IT Support & Infrastructure

About the role

The System Engineer will be responsible for delivering reliable IT infrastructure services across multiple branch locations. You will act as the primary technical contact, ensuring that hardware, network devices and core applications are installed, configured, and maintained to support business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain laptops, desktops and network equipment such as switches and firewalls at branch sites.
• Provide L1/L2 support for core business applications, coordinating with the central application team for updates, patches, releases and version upgrades.
• Manage connectivity issues by liaising with service providers and ensuring uninterrupted branch network access.
• Handle IT asset management tasks, including inventory tracking and UPS troubleshooting.
• Support CCTV systems and assist branches with related technical issues.
• Travel to branch locations as required and be on‑call for critical incidents.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Ability to work independently, travel to multiple sites and respond to on‑call emergencies.
• Strong coordination skills with central IT teams and external vendors.
