Supply Chain COGS Specialist

About the role

3M is seeking a Specialist – COGS within its Supply Chain function in Bangalore. The role focuses on delivering analytics, building dashboards and supporting finance integration to drive cost efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide analytics and insights on supply chain metrics such as gross margin, absorption, yield, productivity and PPV, delivering daily/weekly updates to leadership.
• Design and maintain forward‑looking dashboards using Power BI and SQL to enable data‑driven decisions.
• Support the integration of subcontracting activities into the Bangalore Finance Centre of Excellence and partner with finance and operations on AOP development and cost updates.
• Ensure compliance with financial, SOX and audit standards through accurate documentation and process discipline.
• Identify and implement improvements in COGS reporting, forecasting and planning, leveraging emerging technologies including AI.

Required profile

• CA/CA‑Inter, CMA/Inter or MBA qualification.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience, with 2–3 years using Power BI, SQL and analytics tools in finance or supply‑chain environments.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain finance concepts such as gross margin, absorption, yield, productivity and PPV.
