Store Officer (Raw Materials)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Store Officer to manage raw material and packaging material inventories at our biscuit manufacturing facility. The role ensures that all materials are received, stored, and issued in line with production schedules and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming raw and packaging materials and manage storage space.
• Perform dual weighment, sample weighment and quality clearance according to SOPs.
• Generate timely Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for all deliveries.
• Prepare daily MIS reports on store inward, issues and stock for factory stakeholders.
• Physically verify stock daily and provide criticality updates to the purchasing team.
• Coordinate with purchase to ensure timely receipt of materials and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Maintain hygiene of raw and packaging material stores and oversee regular scrap removal.
• Monitor inventory levels, adjust orders to match production demand, and control material costs.
• Inspect incoming materials for compliance with quality and food‑safety standards.
• Document and report inventory movements, procurement status and any quality issues.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience in raw material handling or store management within a food‑production environment.
• Good understanding of SOPs, quality clearance procedures and inventory control.
• Ability to work closely with purchasing, production and quality teams.
• Knowledge of health, safety and regulatory requirements for food materials.
