Staff Nurse – Patient Care & Clinical Support

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care, supporting patients throughout their recovery, and maintaining accurate medical records in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Deliver bedside care, including operating and caring for medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to assess patient health problems and implement nursing care plans.
