Software Integration Engineer – Program Version Management

About the role

We are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to manage program version creation, integration of software packages and verification activities for automotive ECU projects at Bosch Global Software Technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate software packages and perform configuration changes for program versions.
• Create, deliver and document test, development and series (1) versions and software containers for calibration.
• Implement and validate adaptations to software‑sharing interfaces.
• Record ECU resource consumption, freeze and archive program versions.
• Analyse software complaints during development and series production.
• Define project‑specific tool chains in collaboration with tools department and customers.
• Review architectural design elements, develop test cases and execute system integration verification.
• Support software development and calibration teams during vehicle start‑ups and testing.
• Provide guidance on hardware‑related software issues and assist in quotation processes.

Required profile

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2 to 6 years of experience in software integration, configuration management or automotive ECU development.
