Software Engineer I – Cloud‑Native & Full‑Stack Development

About the role

The Software Engineer I will join the eCRMS – Customer 360 Engineering team to design and develop large‑scale, cloud‑native, event‑driven applications that provide a 360‑degree view of the customer. You will work on both backend services and frontend components while gaining hands‑on experience with modern cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop microservices that support a rapidly growing data platform.
• Build scalable APIs using modern Java frameworks.
• Create tools, automation, and instrumentation to improve system reliability.
• Work on services enabling real‑time data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives with engineers across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience (or equivalent internships/projects) building applications with object‑oriented programming (Java or similar).
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
