Senior Search Engine Marketing Executive

About the role

MakeMyTrip is looking for a Senior Search Engine Marketing Executive to lead SEM campaigns for its emerging business verticals. You will own the end‑to‑end planning, execution and optimisation of Google Ads campaigns, driving qualified traffic and maximizing ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEM strategies that increase visibility, traffic and conversions across multiple business lines.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis and audience targeting to select high‑performing keywords.
• Set up and manage Google Ads accounts, including budget allocation, bid management, ad copy creation and performance tracking.
• Monitor key metrics such as ROAS, conversion rate and Quality Score, and make data‑driven adjustments.
• Run A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages and other elements to improve conversion rates.
• Collaborate with content and design teams to produce compelling ad copy and landing pages.
• Prepare regular performance reports, slide decks and present insights to senior stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
• Proven track record of driving traffic, improving conversion rates and achieving ROI targets.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
