Senior SAP Security Engineer – ERP Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SAP Security Engineer who will lead the design and implementation of identity and access management solutions across our SAP landscape. The role combines ERP business analysis with deep expertise in SAP authorisation, supporting a global environment and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain IAM solutions for SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BI, GTS, ATTP, BTP and related applications.
• Design, build and optimise authorisation roles and concepts across the SAP portfolio.
• Provide expert guidance to business units on cost‑effective security options.
• Participate in emergency response for SAP security incidents, leading root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Execute remediation actions arising from audits, security notes, alerts and testing.
• Stay current with SAP security best practices, white papers and emerging technologies, acting as a thought leader.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of hands‑on experience with SAP authorisations in a global organisation.
• Proven track record in large SAP ERP roll‑out programmes, especially in ECC, S/4HANA and Fiori authorisations.
• Strong understanding of SAP GRC, GxP, SOX and CSV compliance requirements.
• Experience working with multiple solution partners and in dynamic, cross‑functional teams.
