Senior Manager - Costing

About the role

The Senior Manager – Costing is responsible for maintaining accurate cost accounting records, supporting audits, and delivering Management Information System (MIS) reports that enable data‑driven decisions across the organization. This role ensures financial accuracy, cost control, and compliance while optimizing operational and production expenses.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly closing activities for the Costing Profit & Loss statement.
• Interpret and present costing data to senior management.
• Implement and manage an Activity‑Based Costing system.
• Maintain cost centre accounting and ensure quarterly compliance with the Companies Act 2013.
• Roll out MS‑Navision costing software to new hospital locations.
• Oversee cost auditor appointment processes and conduct half‑yearly and annual cost audits.
• Consolidate Pan‑Max costing records and file audit reports with the MCA.
• Perform unit‑wise and specialty‑wise comparative cost analyses.
• Track marginal costing of products and analyze material, direct labour, and indirect cost variances.
• Provide timely MIS and profitability analyses to meet head‑office requirements.
• Conduct monthly material cost, store consumption, and procedure cost analyses.

Required profile

• Commerce graduate with ICWA qualification.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably in the service sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS‑Navision costing software.
