Senior General Manager – Finance & Accounts

About the role

The Senior General Manager – Finance & Accounts will lead the finance function for the India & Sharjah unit, ensuring accurate reporting, robust cash‑flow management and full statutory compliance while supporting manufacturing operations through budgeting, MIS and process governance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and company policies; oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closes.
• Maintain cash‑flow visibility, forecast liquidity and coordinate treasury activities.
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasts and deliver performance dashboards to senior management.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations including VAT, Corporate Tax and ESR; manage statutory filings and audit coordination.
• Oversee payables, receivables, vendor payments, bank reconciliations, credit control and import documentation (LCs, forex exposure).
• Coordinate payroll processing with HR and review employee expense claims.
• Implement internal controls for manufacturing finance, track production costs, inventory, CAPEX and ensure ERP data accuracy.
• Collaborate with plant operations, supply chain, procurement and corporate finance to provide strategic financial insights.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Minimum 20 years of finance and accounts experience.
• At least 3‑5 years in a global accounting practice or manufacturing finance role, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
