Senior Design & Review Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Design & Review Expert to lead structural and civil design activities for our construction projects in Bangalore. The role involves overseeing design quality, ensuring compliance with standards, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and review of civil and structural projects from concept to completion.
• Validate design calculations, drawings, and specifications against industry codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure timely delivery of design deliverables and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering with at least 7 years of design experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of design experience, or
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 15 years of design experience, or
• Retired railway/PSU engineer with a minimum of 7 years in civil design or managerial roles in relevant organisations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of structural and civil design principles.
• Experience with design standards and codes applicable to construction projects.
• Ability to review and approve technical drawings and calculations.
