About the role
This 12‑month contract position supports Amazon’s eXperience and Technology Departures Team by managing the appeals process for employees and alumni. As a Senior Appeals Administrator you will handle confidential information, apply Amazon policies, and deliver high‑quality service in a fast‑moving HR environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deep‑dive into appeal cases to determine required documentation and verify its accuracy against policy and precedent.
- Assess documentation for completeness and relevance, ensuring compliance with Amazon standards.
- Identify process gaps or defects and propose remediation actions to improve the appeals workflow.
- Provide timely, professional support to employees and alumni throughout their appeals journey.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources or Customer Service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, or Payroll Systems is preferred.
