Senior Accountant – Intercompany & Fixed Assets

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its global Intercompany team. You will be responsible for managing intercompany settlements, transfer pricing, and service fee accounting while supporting regional finance teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute intercompany processes, including settlement, global reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
• Handle transfer pricing and service fee accounting.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, and Controllership to determine settlement methods and enforce accountability.
• Maintain service level agreements, performance targets, and track progress.
• Partner with regional teams and financial systems to implement local reporting requirements.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
• Provide guidance and support to regions and business units.
• Perform and review account reconciliations and support SOX control compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CA preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts.
• Experience in intercompany processing and accounting, preferably in a large global environment.
• Proven ability to lead process‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
