SAP Billing Specialist – Accounts Receivable (Virtual Drive)

About the role

HCLTECH is seeking an SAP Billing Specialist to handle billing and reporting activities for residential and commercial customers in the electric and gas utilities market. The role focuses on timely invoicing, regulatory compliance, and accurate transaction processing within the SAP billing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve transactional and customer billing queries generated from systems and the Exceptions Management Framework.
• Validate accuracy of standard and complex products during daily bill audits.
• Analyze and correct customer issues caused by failed transactions or invoicing errors.
• Create, review, edit, and validate billing documents for completeness.
• Submit invoices according to customer specifications and ensure timely delivery.
• Escalate unresolved issues to leads and supervisors promptly.
• Calculate and adjust invoices to reflect corrected amounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce or related field (BBA Finance, BCOM, M.COM, MBA Finance).
• 1 to 4 years of experience in SAP Billing, OTC/O2C, or Accounts Receivable.
• Strong knowledge of regional energy policies and regulatory compliance is a plus.
